Serial translation lives inside that joke. You are always working from incomplete data. A story cannot be translated as one solid slab of text, and for an ongoing series most of the text does not exist yet. Meanwhile the right way to write a sentence in chapter one hundred can hinge on a detail dropped back in chapter one. It may be a gender, a rank, or a double meaning planted as a quiet joke.
That is why SynapTale is built to know the boundaries of its own knowledge. When it translates a chapter, it can find where the answer lives, even hundreds of chapters back, and it can tell when the answer was simply never in the text at all. Knowing that a detail was never mentioned is what keeps a translation from quietly inventing it.
Engineering in the real world
I began my career in anti-fraud. At SenseBank, I lead machine learning in the anti-fraud department and work across the full lifecycle. That starts with defining the problem and understanding the data, then continues through training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and production support. During my first two years in the role, I brought six models into production.
My main specialty is time series with extreme class imbalance, where one important case may appear among 5,000 ordinary ones. I also work in computer vision, including face matching and AI-generated image detection for KYC.
I like problems where ready-made recipes stop working. I start with the data, not the model. And when no model for the data exists, I build my own. That is exactly what happened with SynapTale.
Why I am building SynapTale
I started SynapTale because I read web novels myself. They have been my favorite genre for about five years. And so many great stories still sit without the audience they deserve and without translations, because professional translation capacity is scarce and expensive.
I want authors to write faster and better, and readers to read in the language they love, with a rich fandom around their favorite story. That is what I build in my own time. The system keeps the whole world of a story inspectable at hundreds of chapters and millions of words, and its translations keep the canon, character voices, and details planted far earlier.
