A city in the American Midwest, not far from Kansas, where the Wizard of Oz was born and grew up before becoming a ventriloquist and balloonist. It was from a circus balloon launched in the ordinary world that he was carried by a stray air current to the Land of Oz.
Appears in 4 chapters, first in chapter 15, last in chapter 84.
