Also known as the Black Pit in the mountain.
A pit in the mountains beyond the city and gardens of the Mangaboos, used by the vegetable people as a place of banishment for unwanted living creatures such as Jim, Eureka, and the piglets.
Appears in 2 chapters, first in chapter 75, last in chapter 76.
