Also known as a person of authority, a man who wore a glistening star, my Prince, the vegetable Prince.
A man of authority among the glass city people, identified by a glistening star worn in his dark hair over his forehead, addressed as 'my Prince' and 'my Lord'; he presides over the contest between the Wizard and the Sorcerer Gwig, threatening to stop the Wizard from living and forbid him to be planted if he fails to prove himself the better, and afterward invites the Wizard to accompany him to see the public gardens.
