An orphan boy reared by Mombi in the Gillikin country who remembers nothing of his parents; a strong, rugged, mischievous lad set to farm chores who builds Jack Pumpkinhead to frighten his guardian.

Appears in 24 chapters, first in chapter 25, last in chapter 57.
